I liked your Power of Music SPOTLIGHT in the May/June issue. Regarding The Beatles...I'm wondering
if you had a pair of Beatle boots in the 1960s. I'm about your age, and I did!

(Editor's reply: Not only did I have a pair of Beatle boots, I also had a Beatles-style hat and a ring that
I bought at the Kresge's five-and-dime store...the predecessor of Kmart...which looked liked the one that
Ringo wore in the movie, Help! What can I say?! The Beatles were a big part of my life!)

Your Power of Music SPOTLIGHT in the May/June issue was very interesting. There was a lot of good
music during the 1960s which I enjoy listening to today. I was born in 1983.

The May/June SPOTLIGHT on The Beatles and The Jackson 5 was very good! Especially since it was
presented using your memories from the time. I'm in my early twenties, and all I can say is the music back
then was much better than a lot of the stuff today!

I'm a 27 year old musician (guitarist) who plays weddings and other functions. We get a lot of requests for
songs from the 1960s which you wrote about in the May/June SPOTLIGHT. I always enjoy playing
those songs.

The May/June SPOTLIGHT on the music from the 1960s brought back many fond memories for me. It was
a decade for a lot of good music and things changing for the better. By the way...not only do I remember
telling my age in half years when I was very young, I also remember when I stopped telling my age at all
(about twenty years ago)!

The Power of Music SPOTLIGHT was fantastic! I enjoy music from many time periods, but the 1960s is
my favorite decade of all. So many great tunes! Wish I had experienced it myself like you did, but I missed
that decade by over twenty years.
