I hope you are all doing well.
After years of transferring some of our nature photography images and other creative work onto
T-Shirts, Karen and I made the decision recently to stop offering these products on our websites.
Our reason for doing so is simple.
Producing T- Shirts of this type is a rather labor-intensive and time-consuming process. Because
we are currently devoting most of our time as artists working on various book projects (novels and
nature photography monographs) as well as producing fine art prints, we no longer have the time
to continue offering shirts. For similar reasons, our line of Evergreen Keepsakes have also been
discontinued...at least for the time being. We sincerely appreciate the patronage of those who
purchased these products in the past, and look forward to our future creative projects with great
enthusiasm!
At the stage of life I find myself in, I've come to appreciate the vast tapestry of memories that I've accumulated over the years.
Having grown up during the early days of television, a rather large file of these memories is comprised of television commercials
(I've certainly watched my fair share of them!). When I compare the commercials that were broadcast when I was younger to
the ones being shown today, I can clearly see that those from the past were, for the most part, far more entertaining!
With that in mind, the SPOTLIGHT in this issue, entitled Memorable Television Commercials, features a lighthearted look back
in time to the commercials of yesteryear. Perhaps it will spark pleasant memories of your own, or for those too young to
remember, show that even something as commonplace as a television commercial can be creative.
Lastly, THE FRONT PAGE features an iconic advertising character who is both memorable...and gr-r-eat!
Until we connect again…
